So out of now where, I was hit with an overwhelming desire to make pork belly lettuce wraps. I have no idea where it came from seeing that I've never even cooked a pork belly before, so I need some help to make this a reality.
Pork belly is an easy procurement at my local Asian market. They usually sell about 1 ½” wide strips of it, if that’s what I’ll need.
I’m envisioning a cold lettuce leaf, a crispy slice of pork belly, maybe some kind of pickled vegetables on top and possibly a tangy dip of some sort. Is that doable, or am I just dreaming? :) Of course, if you would like to lend some other additions to my fantasy, please help a sister out.
