Popeye's Yonge St. rip-off delivery

Just convinced my wife to give Popeye's a try as an alternative to KFC. I had Popeye's before when I used to work for the Beer Store's Brampton delivery depot, when out on the trucks doing deliveries.

We looked up on google maps to see which location was within 5 km for delivery (we are at carlaw and gerrard) and discovered it's 273 Yonge Street. No one answered the phone, so I called and ordered from the 729 Yonge Street location.

We ordered up the 16 piece meal. First, they said they didn't have any red bean and rice. Fine, got some Mash potatoes and gravy instead.

The meal gets here, after having to wave the guy down from across the street (apparently he doesn't know how street numbers work) and I brought it in to discover the rip off.

This is what I was supposed to get:

4 drumsticks, 4 thighs, 4 Breasts,
4 wings

Instead I got 8 drumsticks, 1 wing, 1 breast and 6 thighs.

So, I got mostly the worst and smallest part of the chicken, and then mostly the second worst.

I called to complain, and their solution is that I could come there tomorrow and "get some thing for free".

I explained that I paid the delivery fee, gave a tip, and I don't own a car and don't want to take the street car down there to get something I should have got in the first place. She gave me the old "we ran out of white meat, bla bla" and I said they should have told me in the first place; though I have a hard time believing that they had to unload that many drumsticks and thighs on me. I told her the only thing that would make it right is if they came and exchanged what I didn't want for what I was supposed to get, and that my family dinner is tonight, not sometime tomorrow.

Of course, they wouldn't. So they are on my crap list. If you order from there, make sure you ASK THEM to give you the meat you are supposed to get.

I also told her it was my first and last time ordering Popeye's.
