For years, no matter where I lived in NJ, i would go to Adams in Wallington for my kielbasa. Adams has always been the gold standard for kielbasa to me (with the White Eagle a close second).
Since I moved to Morris County the monthly drive to Wallington became tedious. When I saw Polski Smak open on Route 23 in Butler I was skeptical. Good Polish food in suburbia?
Well I was surprised with the quality of their kielbasa. I brought a few rings to family gatherings (and my family is kielbasa connoisseurs) and the family loved it. In fact my brother now makes the drive to Butler instead of Wallington to buy his kielbasa even though the two places are equidistant from his home.
Great bigos, soups, meats and other Polish dishes too.If you are in the area check it out. I don't think you would be disappointed.
