As a possible soon-to-be New Yorker (who hates to cook at the end of a workday but loves to dine out), I'm curious. I've heard that the average New Yorker dines out more days per week than he/she eats in. Is this pretty much true ? How many days per week is the average ? And when we say "dine out," are we talking about actually sitting down in a place like Les Halles, Marichu or Madison Bistro, or are we talking Chinese (or other) take out or no-frills sit-down ? Thanks for your input.
