Polish Sausage (Misch Bros)

I am posting this as a service to all those who enjoy great polish sausage for their Easter meal (or anytime for that matter).

In south suburban Calumet City is a small food store that makes and smokes its own polish sausage. Being in a predominantly polish neighborhood, you can imagine the authenticity of this spectacular food. Around Easter weekend, usually starting on Holy Thursday, people start standing in line for this sausage! I've seen little old ladies wait in line for hours to pick up a few pounds of links. The name of the store is Misch Bros. and is located on 155th Street and Burnham Ave. They sell both smoked sausage and fresh polish sausage. It is so good and so authentic, that I know of people who buy 5-10 lbs and ship them on dry ice overnight to loved ones who have moved away and crave the taste. I seriously have NEVER found a better tasting sausage anywhere. You really need to try this sausage at least once!
