Our local grocery store just started carrying this again after a several year absence and I eagerly brought some home tonight to use in cake icing. Of course I had to try it and it seems to not have that fresh kind of sour tang it used to. In fact, it had a sort of strange after taste, not clean like I remember it being. Has it changed or was I maybe over-expecting after being without this for the past few years? I just remember being completely thrown after I tasted it for the first time because I didn't know butter could taste like that. Now I am feeling let down.
