my parents are celebrating their birthdays and anniversary within the next month and i would like to take them and my sister out for dinner, just the four of us. unfortunately my parents are rather frugal, even though they have no need to be, but can appreciate the finer things as long as the price isn't ridiculous.
i was initially tempted to take them to lee, but they have already made comments about cost and some of the asian fusion elements may cause them to think that they could make some of the items at home for a tiny fraction of the cost.
so, my request is.... no chinese fusion, unless it takes up a minute part of the menu, great quality to price ratio and of course some place where the service is great and accommodating as there may be a fight for the bill at the end of the evening.
as of late, i am thinking:
if someone can convince me that the quality to price ratio won't make my parents gag at any of these places... i'm definitely open to reconsidering.
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks for any help!
