Planning Dinner Banquet for 75 or so

I'm helping to organize an annual dinner banquet for a club I'm a part of and my task is to find the restaurant. Price is an issue. We're looking for a cost on the low end of things (approximately $30-$35/person). I've been doing some thinking and searching.

The Childe Harold in Dupont Circle offers a 3 course meal in about that range, with standard salmon/chicken/pasta dinner banquet fare. I've never eaten there and I know it's not a Chow place. Any opinions from people that have dined there?

And more importantly, any suggestions for other places, especially if you've had an event there in the past? Needs to have room for a silent auction area, speaker, registration table, and come in a the right price.

Thanks for your help!
