Any place in LA with a decent bone marrow dish?

A year after returning to California after 3 years in London, one of the few things I really find myself missing, chow-wise, is St. John's iconic roast bone marrow and parsley salad. Anthony Bourdain named it as his (hypothetical?) "death row meal" and having tried it 3 or 4 times, I can see his point.

Does any place in the greater LA area offer anything even remotely comparable, or should I brave attempting it myself from Fergus Henderson's cookbook? (something I've tried a few times with other dishes and come up a bit short, unsurprisingly...)
