After being informed that I needed a root-canal and a crown, I felt the need for comfort food, which to me means "pizza"...

I was near Needham Ave in Newton, and stopped into Pizzapalooza with great anticipation...It had gotten raves on the Phantom, (yeah, I watch just to diss it!), and the pictures actually looked good...I should have known...

This "pizza per taglia" type place was home to big pans of such doughy, undercooked looking bread (it would be an overstatement to call it crust), topped with such pathetic, dried out looking toppings, that I stared, tried to summon up my enthusiasm, and walked back out...My friends all know I maintain that there is no such thing as bad pizza, and any pizza is better than NO pizza, but I've decided to amend my world view...How does this place stay in business???? Bets on when it tanks.....
