They use expensive ingredients & concoct their eats as nature would intend. I found them at dinosburbank.com, drove over there, ate, and now couldn't even consider downing a pizza from anywhere else. This is a mom and pop restaurant. They whomp up their own pizza dough every day. I'm permanently hooked. All I could ask them to add would be italian pastries like Sarno's - Sunset & Vermont -- used to sell.
I hung around one morning when bulk foodstuffs were being delivered. Tomatos: vine-ripe, also sun-dried. Avocados: better Haas variety such as retail at $1.29 right now. Rolls: very mild "french" taste, rather fluffy in a sort of mild sourdough-like crust. And, hey!, the balsamic vinegar ... Fresh happy cilantro and spinach leaves. Kalamata olives. Dandy meatballs for her spaghetti (makes her sauce from scratch). Pepperoni is just right.
