My neighbor has put together a jury-rigged pizza oven setup inside their electric built-in oven. It consists of a round pizza stone flanked by some type of substantial looking ceramic blocks at the sides of the stone on on a rack over the top of it. They crank the oven all the way up and get pretty decent results, although maybe not as crispy on the bottom as I would like. All the parts are easily removable of course.
I'm looking for ideas on the best types of stone and blocks to duplicate this with ...... or for any other/better ideas on making pizza at home in an electric/convection oven. Thanks.
