Previously I've posted about the ranch-baked pies at The Farm in Salinas.
A few months ago it started offering a different kind of pie . . . Pizza! Slices are available on Mondays topped with beautiful veggies, cheese, and some have sausage or other meat additions. About a half dozen different combinations are offered. The slices are big, shown in an 8" pie tin for scale. The crust is bready and on the thick side, but that kind of structure is needed for the heavy, juicy toppings. Tasty stuff, and one slice was enough for lunch for me.
The posted hours for pizza are 11am to 1pm. But if you show up later, whatever's still available is wrapped in plastic and in the refrigerator case.
