Restaurants & Bars 2

There's an article in todays NY Times about Red Sox fans in NY. It mentions (with a picture) Pino's restaurant on East 34th street, which is owned by former Red Sox pitcher Jerry Casale. I'm old enough to remember him, and even vaugely knew that he was from the NY area, but I had no idea he was still alive, much less that he owns a restaurant in NY. Has anyone ever been to Pino's? I can't find any info on it, not in Time Out or on a Web search. Sounds like old line Italian, which I'm not opposed to. If you say the food doesn't rate I'd still stop in for a drink to check out the Red Sox mural that's mentioned in the article. Thanks. --Ken
