Where to pick up a picnic near Brooklyn Botanic Garden?

foster | Jun 17, 201604:05 PM     10

Coming from out of town & planning to spend a members' evening in the garden. Invited to bring a picnic. Where is a good spot to pick up something (relatively) nearby?

If it is something warm, of course we wouldnt want to be traveling too far. If it is cold/room temp, that wouldnt be that much of a concern. No matter what it is, it needs to be something that can travel... We will be walking/taking subway everywhere. Open to carry out from a restaurant, a true carry out, or something more like a deli... I do try to always find the "perfect" meal for every occasion, but havent had any time to plan this trip, which is coming up so soon! My husband and I are planning a trip without the baby, for the first time since the baby! We like everything... Thanks for any help!
