Pho Hoa Clement

Richie Richmond | Oct 6, 200412:01 PM

Went to Pho Hoa Clement last night and while waiting for my dining companions noticed that they now have a "Order Pho Your Way" menu that allows you to, among other things, order nonfat broth (as scary as that sounds), extra fatty broth, more noodles, more coriander, more chicken skin (for pho ga) and a multitude of other offerings. I thought it was very interesting. The list was posted outside, if you are facing the door, high on your left hand side.

As for the pho, as always it was wonderful, tons of basil, bean sprouts etc. I got Pho Tai with extra meatballs. Having never had meatballs this way before I have no frame of reference, but they were tasty, firm and had a good texture.

On another note, there was a server there last night that was so sweet...which is different than the typically indifferent service we normally get. This is not important to my pho dining experience, but was just interesting.
