Pho, in Chinatown and elsewhere

Anne H | Feb 6, 200609:56 PM

Driving past Chinatown the other day, I drifted into a restaurant called something like, Vietnam Noodles (on Wentworth, right across from the post office) and took home some incredibly delicious pho. For $6.75, I got way more than I could eat, and shared it with my teenage son, who loved it and is demanding more.

Does anyone know the exact name of this place, so I can call ahead and just run by and pick it up (not exactly on my way home, but worth it)? (and what else should I order, to make a full dinner for two?)

Or are there any great pho locations you want to tell me about on the far north side / Evanston? Anyone been to Annam, or Annam Cafe, on Clark in Evanston? I think they have pho?

Also, I've only had pho three times, and I saw on the menu in Chinatown that there were endless variations. I just had steak (wow it was incredibly good). Any recommendations regarding variations?
