Philly Chowhounds seek reasonable post-matinee Chow

Hi all:

Coming to your fair city on Saturday for a 2PM performance. Hoping to have an early (5-5:30 PM), but high quality dinner at low rent price. My research thusfar has pointed to the $32.00 prix fixe dinner at San Domenico, dinner at Cinque Terre or maybe Lenox. Any ethnicity is cool, but leaning toward French or Italian at the moment. Decent atmosphere, but doesn't have to be super upscale. No greasy spoons please - even if they're wonderful, this trip is for a nice "grown up" afternoon/evening. Any opinions? Would like high quality food, easy access via subway (within Manhattan - have to get back that night so outer boroughs not an option) and generally high scores on the discriminating Chowhound scale. A decent selection of wines would be a bonus. Please let me know if I'm heading in the right direction, or if there are better fabulous options I don't know about. Happy to return the favor when anyone is visiting City of Brotherly Love...

Thanks in advance!
