Writing to express appreciation for all the good advice about dining in Phildalphia. The pizza at the window at Lorenzo's in the Italian Market was fantastic. Pancake breakfast at The Dutch Eating Place in the reading Market was wonderful, inexpensive, and efficiently served. Dinner at Monk's Tavern was an experience - excellent Belgian beers, mussels, and duck breats sandwich. Sansome Street Oyster House also terrific for fish, but don't order steak as it will likely be frozen and not cooked to order. Capogiro for gelato is the best, but try or get every flavor you want because it won't be there the next day. Lunch at diBruno Brothers on Chestnut Street is excellent and very inexpensive.
Dinner at Bronzino's was very disappointing. Pasta was terribly overcooked and came out as one mushy mass, and no one came by in the course of the meal to ask if things were satisfactory. We would not go back there or recommend it.
