Hi all. We bid on and won at a charity fundraiser-- dinner for 8 in our home put on by a personal chef. Here's my question, we bid $850 and paid the money to the charity. Do we tip the chef on top of this the night of the dinner and if so, how much? I have no idea what he's even serving or how many courses. He's not terribly communicative. Also, is it expected that he do the dishes? I really don't care if he does or doesn't just trying to understand standard protocol. I am using my fine china and crystal and it needs to be hand washed.
