Perry Ko's ~ moving

After more than 40 years in business, South China Restaurant is shutting its doors to make room for light rail in South Seattle. They lost their parking lot months ago to construction ~ seems the city will raze the entire block..

i'm disapointed that for my favorite war wonton mein and other old-time cantonese dishes, we'll have to drive to Bellevue ~ they will relocate in mid-January..

i think they're worth the drive.. but what a loss to the Beacon Hill community...
