Just bought iced tea from Starbucks today and it was good but somewhat bitter. But last week I got an iced tea from a local place that was awesome: when I ordered he put 2 tea bags in a cup with hot water, let it steep for a few minutes, then poured it over ice.
Was there something in the local place's technique that ensured that the tea wasn't bitter? How can I do this at home?
Any other home-brewing tips for unsweetened iced tea are appreciated. Feel free to deal with such topics as:
