Perectly fabulous salad in Rhinebeck

While I have been to Francesca's in Rhinebeck several times and always had nice, okay food, I really must post about the salad I just had there. Billed on the menu as a Garden Salad (think it was 3-4 bucks), it was baby spinach, mesculun, artichoke hearts, really good olives, roasted red peppers, picked carrots, red onions, lots of other really good stuff. Not knowing what to expect, I asked for blue cheese dressing, which turned out to be a balsamic vinaigrette with real blue cheese crumbled liberally on top. For 4 bucks or so, it was just just just . . . fine.

(plus, they were playing Italian music and everything smelled good)
