The manager of Pepe Giallo just opened a place in Williamsburgh called Aurora. It's really fantastic. He brought two young chefs over from Rome and I can't say enough good stuff about the food. The wine selection is well thought-out by people who know. There is nowhere in Manhattan to get such good food at such a reasonable (cash only) price.
To me, it is well worth the trip over the bridge.
My only issue with eating in W'burgh is the ever-present wardrobe problem the area seems to be encountering.
Go ahead, and kick my a**. I don't care.
