Went to have dim sum at Peony. Picked that restaurant because I haven't been there in awhile and thougt I'd give it a try again.
First, as soon as we walked in and went to the hostess to get seated. some guy comes in front of me and asks for a table. I told the hostess that I was there first but she ignored me. Luckily it wasn't crowded and we were seated right away. They came right away to ask about tea. But there was no soy sauce on the table and when I asked for some, they put it into this small dish filled half way. We were there about noon and the carts hardly came around. When they did come around, they only showed me one item and then proceed to go away. We always had to call them back. We got around 4 dishes in one hour. Finally, I said I will just order the dim sum from the waiter. That took another half hour. One on the items we wanted came around on a cart so we took it and thought 2 of them would be ok but when they brought the dim sum, they said they ran out of the item we took from the cart. Paying was another story It took another half hour. It was a two hours for 7 plates of dim sum. We are not going there again.
