Peking Eastern House Restaurant, Fremont

Arlene | Aug 2, 200406:51 PM

Finally got to try Peking Eastern House in Fremont for lunch. This is a Chinese Muslim restaurant.

Good write up here:

Everything we had was good.
Beef Shian Bing (Chinese hamburger) $1.75 each. Like a huge round potsticker (size of a CD). Crunchy outside, ground beef? inside. One is enough for 2 people as an appetizer.

Boil Dumpling (10) for $3.95-seems homemade. From a sign outside seems they seem them frozen too. 50 for around $12.50--sign written in Chinese.
Good, needs sauce though.

lamb w/ celery & hot chili $7.95. Good hot flavor but not enough lamb for me. Needs more lamb!!!

Vegetarian Yellow Bird $6.95. Tofu skin w/ mushrooms and other stuff, gooey sauce and pea sprouts below it. Good.

Before tip was $27. Recommended, would go back.
