I have waxed poetic about Peking Duck House before and I will do so again. However this time I FINALLY had the duck paired with a 2002 Amon-Ra McLaren Vale Shiraz and a 2003 Mas de Boislauzon CDP. I had heard that both are natural pairings w/Peking Duck and I had never tried. So I decided to try both last night. And quite honestly, both worked wonderfully. I went back and forth trying to decide which I liked better and it was close to a dead heat. I would give the Amon-Ra a slight advantage as enormous fruit worked wonderfully. The CDP, no light weight in terms of CDP, was awesome too. It is one of those things that you must try for your self to truly experience.
