Peking Cuisine at Mandarin Restaurant in Millbrae?

Melanie Wong | Apr 27, 2006 12:35 AM

My query about China Bee in San Mateo was so fruitful, thought I'd ask about another seemingly Northern Chinese restaurant on the Peninsula. Yesterday I wandered by Mandarin Restaurant ("Peking Cuisine") in Millbrae and took a peek at the menu posted. It's right next to Shanghai Dumpling Shop. The menu offers donburi and standard Americanized Chinese dishes. However, the noodle section did look interesting with zha jiang mian, etc. And, on the weekends, it has a full menu of Northern breakfast and snacks, including panfried "piroshki".

I'd already had lunch or I would have tried it. What do 'hounds think about this place?
