I had a nice bowl of pork Shoyu Ramen at this newish Ramen house on main st. in peekskill. The broth was full of flavor and contained nori, fresh scallions, corn, half an egg, a couple of nice chunks of pork and noodles. no one is going to confuse the fare with ippudo but they serve a nice, hearty bowl of ramen, the owner is really nice and the food is well-priced.
The person next to me ordered gyoza and was told they were all out as they had to make more. I take that as a good sign. Give it a try and let us know what you think.
on a side note, there's an Ecuadorian deli on the same block and I couldn't help but notice the patrons were eating big bowls of soup followed by platters of fried chicken. that's up next!
