Peekskill Pub Food - The Branding Iron

vinouspleasure | Jan 20, 201411:23 AM     32

Tried for the first time over the weekend. Don't let the crowded bar as you walk in deter you, there's quiet seating in the back. Great selection of burgers and pub food, service was wonderful and the food very good. We had the blooming onion, which had a nice sauce but was a little soggy and pulled pork tostados which were good. The star of the shoe were the burgers, served on a delicious, warm bun which tasted and looked homemade. the burger itself was generous, charred on the outside, perfectly cooked in the middle, served with hand cut fries. All the orders coming out of the kitchen looked good,: fish and chips, kids grilled cheese, prime rib...we'll definitely be back.

It's a fun place, give them a try!
