Best pecan pie? Phipps' is fantastic. Anyone know better?

First my definition of great pecan pie includes a sticky (almost gooey) filling rather than a gelatinous filling. And obviously, the crust should be very short--either flaky or bordering on shortbread consistency. I've found Someone's in the Kitchen with Dinah's pecan pie to be good on pastry but gelatinous on filling. Phipps' is very sticky (though not getting quite into the gooey range) and the crust is very short--definitely close to short bread. They also have a very nice caramel sauce that goes on top (slightly burnt sugar taste).

Does anyone know of any pecan pies that are really good--or better than Phipps (preferably in the city of Toronto)?
