Peanut Milk review @ KK Cafe

ryan | Mar 15, 2003 02:39 AM

I remember reading in the paper last year about a asian man in SF who figured out how to make milk from peanuts.
Well I was on Divisadaro today and happened to randomly see a sign for the place. It is a small cafe around Fell and Div. When I walked in, the place had no mension of the milk except for testimonials littering the walls. The people that wrote the letters claimed that the peanut milk cleared them of ther skinproblems, cured their cancer, helped them meditate...just about every problem man has ever known.

Well, I drank a pint early this morning, and last i checked capitalism still bothers me. Oh well.

Serioiusly though it did taste pretty good...creamy like rice milk, with a...peanuty taste. It was just...good. Maybee a little extra energy in the hour after--maybee not. Regardless a small coffeeshop owner on Divisidero is apparantly the only man in the world that can milk peanuts....im impressed.
