[PDX] Good family-friendly restaurants

Sir Loins | Feb 21, 200611:40 AM     11

A couple and their 2 elementary school-age sons are coming to visit for a few days, and I imagine that we'll be dining out a few times.

These folks rarely go out for dinner, but when they do, it's usually a national chain restaurant, like Chili's or Applebees. Places like the Olive Garden are where they go for a nice night out.

So, they aren't into food so much, but I am. Can you recommend local Portland restaurants which would be comfortable for well-behaved kids, and have things kids like to eat, and where adults can dine for $10-$12 per person (and less)? The only places that come to mind are La Buca, and various pizza joints.
