We decided to go out to dinner last night and I called to see if the new Bugatti's at the Cedar Hills Crossing Mall (formerly Beaverton Mall) was open yet. As it happened, last night was their first night.

We arrived about 6:30 pm and there were a number of people there, but they were not too busy. I guess this was a "soft" opening and they had not advertised it. We were given this wonderful foccacia bread with olive oil to start. I had the funghi pasta for dinner, a fettucine dish with mushrooms and a cream sauce. The sauce was just enough to coat the noodles but there wasn't too much and the flavor was very nice. My husband had the meat lasagna and it was very good. The red sauce is a little sweeter than I make mine, but the dish was vert meaty and tasty. We finished off with a huge slice of carrot cake that was very moist and good. I was a bit suprised they didn't have any tiramisu on the menu.

The service was excellent and all of the staff members were very friendly. With our 2 entrees, dessert, a glass of wine, and a beer, the bill was $35 before tip. I felt it was a good value and a good option for a semi-casual dinner out. This is the kind of place that you could go to in jeans or a little more dressed-up.

I also saw that they have a happy hour from 3 to 6 pm and 8:30 pm to close. I didn't get to see a menu for the happy hour but I'll ask for one next time. I think they just might give Hall Street Bar and Grill a little competition for the late-night happy hour since theirs doesn't start until 9:30 pm.

We were very impressed with our experience, especially condsidering it was their frist night open to the public. I'm very happy that we have another decent dining option in Beaverton.
