PCH Caffeine and Sugar Tour -- Coffee, Tea and Hot chocolate shops.

Please help list those special shops in and between the California Beach Communities that are a must stop to either sit and enjoy a cup or get one to enjoy on the drive. Winter is coming and a drive along the beach communities of California dotted along PCH (Highway 1 as it may be called in some areas) on a cold rainy day is great fun. The beaches are more natural without the crowd. The drive is even more fun if you have a special place to stop and warm yourself with a great cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate . It is also good to treat yourself to a special something to eat – fresh baked Cinnamon Rolls or pastries. A recent post by WineJones mentioned a stop last January at St. Tropez Bakery & Bistro – memorable hot chocolate in the French tradition. I will add three of my favorites. (House of Bread, Old West Cinnamon Rolls and Pannikin Coffee & Tea). Anyone have more to add to the Caffeine and Sugar Tour of PCH (North & South)? Please state what you like about the place.

House of Bread (Great Coffee and stuff but on some days you can buy Jalapeno Chedder Cheese bread to take with you on the road)
858 Higuera Street
San Luis Obispo, CA 93401

Old West Cinnamon Rolls (Great fresh Cinnamon Rolls and very good coffee, eat in, grab & go and mail a box home).
861 Dolliver Street
Pismo Beach
(805) 773-1428

Pannikin Coffee & Tea (This old train station is a great place to sit and enjoy a hot drink but I do this drive just to stock-up of the Pannikin blend. Also, Fresh (dense) pastries and Mexican Hot Chocolate)
510 N Coast Hwy 101
Encinitas, CA 92024-2035
760) 436-5824

St. Tropez Bakery & Bistro Encinitas (Hot Chocolate & much more, check out the site)
