PBS Create - no longer programmed in 6-hr blocks

greygarious | Jun 10, 2012 11:00 AM

As of June 1, it's no longer easy to find repeats of your favorite instructional shows. The up-side is that there is more program variety, if you can remember when to tune in! Formerly, the repeating 6-hr blocks began at 6a.m. and you knew that the same Essential Pepin episode, for example, would be at 7 and 1, both a.m. and p.m. on Tuesday, and a different one on Thursday. Now, some repeat in 6 hrs, some in 2-1/2, some not at all. In my area, the so-called Saturday Marathon runs from 6 am to noon, then 6pm to midnight, and repeats on Sunday afternoon. You can find your local schedule on their website.
