Would you pay $1000 for 1 piece of cookware?

Assuming that it does everything you want/need and made out of perfect material to your exact requirements. I am not talking about a bespoke piece, but more a specific product in a size or color or material that if it were introduced by a company, would usually cost 2-3x the closest competition

Here is an example: I'd love to see a 4mm copper rondeau with 6" sides and 15-16" wide (14-15" flat) that is stainless inside. One that has a nice lid (not 1mm thin, but more like 2.5mm) and stay cool (as much as they can) handles.

Question still remains though... would I pay $1000 for it? I do not know...

I also would like to keep it to cookware, as in pots and pans, and exclude gadgets and knives (which have been easily going over 1k (i seen a few go north of 5k) but certain brands/styles)
