This was the first time we both were terribly disappointed with this excellent restaurant. The service offered was horrible. Our server did not remember to bring the drink that was ordered nor to give us the lemon we asked for. The lamb we ordered was not available. The server came back after 8 minutes and told us after we ordered it that it was unavailable. To add insult to injury the same thing happened with the dessert. After we ordered it, we were told they did not have it. The meal came out much later than it should have and part of it was cold. Ten minutes after it was served, the waitress asked how everything was. I showed her that the one part of the meal was cold, as even then, the butter had not melted on top of the item. She offered to bring it back to the kitchen so that that one item could be warmed up! We were both very hungry and decided to nix that idea. Nothing was offered in its place. VERY disappointing time. First time this has happened to us in years.
