Pastiera Cheesecake?

BobbyCT | Dec 28, 2004 02:05 PM

We had the best Italian cheesecake of our life recently at Roberto's in the Bronx. They make it themselves but unfortunately do not sell it to go.The waiter told us it is called "Pasteria",or southern Italian cheesecake. It is made similar to Riccota Italain cheesecake but also includes pieces of dried fruit.Does anyone know of a bakery that may sell this type of cheesecake? Will travel but Bronx preferred.Thank you.
