Just browsing through my Lakewood Balmoral Residents' Council Newsletter this morning and came across this little tidbit that I thought I'd share:
"The owners of Pasteur, 5525 N. Broadway, have come to the 48th Ward community with a proposal to construct a new restaurant capped with 12 condominium units that would be stepped back above the third floor. The present restaurant would be closed and the present building demolished. After construction is completed, Pasteur would be reopened at 5525 N. Broadway. Kim and Dan Nguyen, owners of Pasteur, are residents of Lakewood Balmoral. (Approval of the proposal was pending as this newsletter went to press.)"
The text itself is part of a report within the newsletter from Alderman Mary Ann Smith's office. Sounds like a done deal to me...
