I'm going out to dinner tomorrow night with a couple of friends, one of whom is an incredibly fussy eater. Indeed, she is so fussy all she will eat is plain pasta with no sauce. She's otherwise quite loveable so we put up with her, but in picking a restaurant I need to make sure they serve pasta. Italian is an obvious choice, but there are several new non-italian restaurants around town that I'd rather try out first. So, my question is, do any of the following restaurants have pasta on the menu?
AOC (I've been here before but would like to go back -- my recollection is that there is no pasta on menu,
but thought I'd confirm this).
The backup plan is to go to Angelini Osteria or Alto Palato. I'd also be open to other recommendations. We're looking for a place in the Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area (one friend's coming from Santa Monica and I'm coming from Silverlake, and as it's after work we'd prefer to meet somewhere in the middle), good food, nice atmosphere for chatting and catching up, and a decent wine selection. Thanks!
