The Pasta Bar-Asian-Italian in Alhambra

Ate lunch recently at a very interesting place, the Pasta Bar. From their business card it looks like the first US outpost of a Taiwanese chain. It is very much like "Italian" restaurants that I saw frequently in Japan. Trendy IKEA-Minimalist decor. The pasta is pretty much limited to spaghetti, no stuffed pasta here. Toppings are heavy on the seafood. They have a prix fixe deal with most entrees, that includes appetizer, entree, and dessert. Prices pretty reasonable from about $8-12 with a few meat entrees that I think were more.

I had a seafood pizza with shrimp, seaweed, fish roe, and a couple other items. Pretty decent, although seafood pizza isn't my personal preference. Worth going back to.
