Passover with jaw wired shut -- general suggestions plus specific info on immersion blender

almond tree | Mar 29, 2015 08:21 PM

My adult son broke his jaw and thank G-d he's not doing too badly. However, he can only consume liquids -- very thin liquids that will pass easily through a straw, with no seeds or skins to catch in his teeth.
I will be cooking several meals for him over Pesach and am wondering if anyone has experience preparing this type of diet.
Also, I have a small KLP food processor which I would like to keep pareve if possible. Would an immersion blender be strong enough to grind up beef long-simmered in soup? How about chicken? (He's craving meaty flavors.)
Want to make him happy while buying a minimum of expensive equipment.
TIA
