I'm helping plan a communal seder for synagogue (in Manhattan) and need to find the m-ball soup and some kind of fish (not gefilte, already got that) reasonably priced, for upwards of 80 people--nothing needs to be kosher. For insurance reasons, we can't make our own. PJ Bernsteins charged $30 a pound for lox with all the fixings last year, and 7.25 per quart of soup (2 m-balls). Marshall's retail store sells platters of nova, whitefish filet, sabel, and baked salmon--4 pounds for $70. Any other ideas? You can email me, if that's better than taking up space here. Thanks!
