Just back! Thanks to everyone for all their great advice. Here's my opinions.
Le Meurice- amazing experience, service exceeded all our expectations. Great food, great room
Ze Kitchen Galerie - cool place, loved the glass kitchen. Friendly service, very good food.
Le Grand Colbert - do not recommend this place- it was the only place in Paris where we felt unwanted and poorly treated. The help ignored us and fawned over the regulars. Despte great escargo and oysters it as not a pleasant evening.
Violin D'Ingres - did not think it was worth the money. After we orderd our meal the waiter said oh, we're out of that. Shouldn't he know that in a one star restaurant? Impossible to get anyone to pour our wine, We waited forever and had to do it ourselves which was embarassing to us but not to them (no one apologized). Food just OK.
Feel in love with the pastries in Gerard Mulot on the rue de Seine in the 6th. Amazing place.
Thanks again!
