Hello Paris Hounds, and thanks for so many enjoyable hours your posts have given me. My husband's first trip to France and he will eat anything but I have a fish allergy so we are concentrating on places that are a good value with some choice on the menu. Just a few days to see Paris before concentrating our time in the South. I know we are American tourists but would love to dine with a few natives if possible. We are not looking for places like Frenchie or Le Comptoir Relais or being around a ton of kids instagramming their snails. Here are the places I've got, please know I am trying to hit both the creative as well as traditional. Please let me know if there is something you would sub out and thanks again- your knowledge and passion make this site great!
Pirouette for first lunch, preferably outside
Bouillion Pigalle because the price point is unreal and they have cocktails
Les Climats or David Toutain for a splurge lunch
Chez Michel for regional cuisine
Les Arlots for a newer bistro
