Want an excellent dinner and the hell with the cost?
That's right, forget the cost (its expensive and will cost you REALLY BIG BUCKS) and dine in magnificient ambiance with the most (MOST) delectible cuisine I have ever had. Go to Hotel de Crillon, Les Ambassadeurs Restaurant at the Place de la Concorde. Get the Tasting Menu (around $150. per/person and the wine will be at least as much as this dinner). Small courses but many of them and , by the time the entire extravaganza is over with, you may not leave the table on steady feet...but you will dream of the dinner for days on end. Jean Georges in New York has a Tasting Menu of about $125 p/p and you will feel as if you were in a Cafeteria with no lingering dreams, just thoughts of all the money you have spent. That's the difference with Les Ambassadeurs, you do not think of cost afterwards. Foody's ! You Owe It To Yourself...Go there. As a New Yorker, this third trip to Paris was even better than the others and just because of this dinner.
