Parents of Adult Children: When should kids start picking up the check?

Hello all!

I recently interviewed two well-known etiquette experts for a blog article on the topic of "at what age should I start offering to pick up the check while dining out with parents?" They both had similar answers (basically saying 'there isn't a specific age..' and 'parents love picking up the check').

However, I want to hear what actual parents think. So, what's the answer? Is there a certain age at which adult children should start offering to pay for dinner?
Do you really love picking up the check, or do you secretly wish the kids would offer more?
