Parents' 35 anniv -- need special Nassau restaurant

My brothers and I would like to treat my parents and some immediate family to a special dinner for their 35th anniversary. My parents like many cuisines and are not incredibly fussy, so we're looking for a good balance between food quality and atmosphere. There will be 8-12 of us, and I'm not sure if we should look for a private room, or split up into two tables (any suggestions?)

As a frame of reference, their usual special occaison place is La Marmite in Williston Park. So, that's still an option but I wouldn't mind doing something different for them.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
