Pam Real Thai

coronet | Mar 23, 2004 04:02 PM

Due to a tremendous amount of chat about Pam Real Thai myself and a friend went to check it out. I must say I was was rather disapointed. To start we had the curry puffs which were delightful, but it then got painful. Almost all the PRT posts on this board tell of how great the fried duck with chille sauce is but I couldn't disagree more. It was dry, chewy and fatty with not much other flavor besides the spicy chille paste. Maybe my palate is not suited towards authentic thai food but I'd rather have the delicious americanized thai that doesn't taste like I'm eating bark. The Pad Thai was mediocre and dry, also unpleasant. I'm going to wondee siam next time. If there are other dishes i should try to reagain a liking please tell.
